Eclipse “Specified” statuses and  how they work .

Call When Specified (W) -  The order will appear in your Calling Queue on the specified call date/ship date regardless if the items are available or not. If the call date/ship date is OUTSIDE the PLENTY date (which can be found in the  line item schedule screen of the order, the item will NOT be committed to the order, once the item falls within the “restocking period” (lead time from vendor to you), inventory is then allocated to your order.

Example –Plenty date

Items Plenty date (schedule screen) 7.6.19

You will see that the qty is allocated to the order based on ship date

With the ship date OUTSIDE the plenty date, you will see that the item is NOT allocated to the order. It says “Now Plenty”, because the system believes you will have “PLENTY” By that date

How item looks in inventory inquiry, notice there is now 998 avail

Ship When Specified  (S) – The order will print on the “specified” ship date (may print the day before) , as long as ALL items are available to ship. If the ship date is OUTSIDE the PLENTY DATE , inventory is NOT allocated to the order, once the ship date falls within the RESTOCKING period, inventory is then allocated. Works the same is Call When Specified.

Note: If order is in any status that commits inventory immediately (P,C,L,H,M,A), pushing the SHIPDATE “out”, still commits inventory to the order!!!!
